If your kids use children’s hideaway beds, then they could be doing damage to their backs during key growth years. Beyond that, many hideaway beds and many wall beds do not have a long life. They are hard on you and hard on the mattresses you put on them which leave you buying a new bed or at least a new mattress with fair regularity.

So there is a lot to think about with wall / hideaway beds. Make sure you know the pros and cons, weigh them against your situation, and make the decision that is best for you. Either way, the folding beds and hiding beds are not going anywhere anytime soon.
