When you buy many things, you probably have learned that name brand is almost always the way to go if you want good quality of product. What, though, about pillow brands. Is the brand name of a pillow any indication of its quality to the point where you should be thinking about name pillows exclusively over non name brand pillows? What Are They

You may ask yourself: what are the pillow brands? It is certainly a valid question since for many people; it is easy to name brands for many products. You probably know television brands, shoe brands, and even bedding brands right off the top of your head, but not pillow brands. The truth is that there are some name brand pillows. For instance, Jubilee brand pillows, Tulip brand pillow and even the Waffle brand air cushion pillow. The question is, though, are they worth your dollar over other pillows names?

The Answer

The short and basic answer to the pillow brands question is that it depends. Pillow brands depend on what type of pillow you are getting in the first place. An example would be the foam pillows which are growing in popularity. If you are going to get a memory foam mattress you really might want to go ahead and look for a name brand.

On the other hand, if you are getting a throw pillow, you really don’t need to worry about the brand. Throw pillows are really nothing more than bags sewn up with stuffing. In other words, when one brand or one maker is as good as another, then there is no reason to look for a brand name of pillow.

If you don’t want to have to worry about pillow brands, you can always make your own pillows. When it comes to sewing, pillows are some of the easiest projects to undertake. With good fabric and good stuffing, you can make pillows that rank right up there with hotel down pillows and name brand pillows.

So as you have seen, pillow brands are sometimes important, but other times are not. What you have to do is consider whether or not what you are getting is something that would matter one way or another and then go with your gut.
